Cosmetex 2017
A great event socially and academically where the best of the best gathers and learn from each other
Informative, innovative, and fun which made a great environment for maximum learning and retention of new information.
I always enjoy attending Cosmetex. The general vibe is one of camaraderie & collaboration. The learning and networking opportunities are fantastic.
The quality of the speakers and the diversity of topics this year was fantastic. There are definite lessons I have learned that will impact my practice of cosmetic medicine and my clinic in a very positive way.
Great speakers, brilliant workshops, excellent environment.
Probably the most comprehensive programme and consistently high quality speakers

Thursday 14 – Saturday 16 September 2017
The Hilton, Sydney

Proudly hosted by the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery, Cosmetex 2017 will take place at the Hilton, in Sydney from Thursday 14 – Saturday 16 September 2017.

Cosmetex provides an essential forum for industry professionals to:

  • listen to a range of high profile national and international speakers
  • attend workshops and live procedure demonstrations
  • exchange information and learn about the latest industry developments
  • compare notes and network with like-minded professionals

Established in 1999, the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery (ACCS) is a not-for-profit, multi-disciplinary fellowship based body of general surgeons, cosmetic surgeons, plastic surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, dermatologists, ear, nose and throat surgeons, ophthalmologists and other doctors and health care practitioners who practice in cosmetic medicine and surgery.

The primary goal of the ACCS is to ensure the safe provision of cosmetic medicine and cosmetic surgical procedures to the Australian general community through the supply of appropriately trained and certified health care practitioners.

The College also seeks to work cooperatively with government and other stakeholders to improve standards and safety and to educate health care consumers. Its Fellows and spokespeople are regularly quoted in the media and consulted by federal and state health and consumer regulators.

The ACCS is the only medical college which provides education and training leading to fellowship specifically in cosmetic medicine and surgery. Fellows of the College are medical doctors who have completed post-graduate education and training and demonstrated competency specifically in cosmetic medicine and surgery. To become an ACCS Fellow, doctors must typically complete a minimum of 12 years of medical and surgical education and training.

Innovation and excellence is achieved when we bring the world’s best practitioners together in a contemporary, multidisciplinary educational forum. That’s why we’ve been successfully hosting Australasia’s premier conference in cosmetic medical practice each year since 1999.

Cosmetex provides a unique forum for us to get together, share our experiences and learn from each other. As cosmetic medical and cosmetic surgical procedures are ever more in demand, the need to stay abreast of developments in the industry and stay ahead of the hype is intensified. Raising standards and protecting patients is the ethos of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery. I’m sure you’ll be impressed when you see the range of topics covered in our program – there are gems waiting for you to take away.

Of course, no conference is complete without the social aspect – designed especially for you to enjoy the company of old friends and new.

COSMETEX17 is the one event on the cosmetic surgical and cosmetic medical calendar not to be missed.

I look forward to personally welcoming you to sparkling Sydney this September.

President, ACCS
